ANSWER

Thanks for taking the time to submit your questions. I am not sure as to the intent of your submission... but I am going to answer in hope that you are here for a positive reason.

1.Have you ever had binge eating disorder? If yes, how did it feel?

Yes, I did suffer from binge eating. You can read about my story here: My Story.

2.How many have you ever helped getting over binge eating disorder?

I don't know if there is a way to measure this. I have created this site as a means to reach as many people as possible.

I want my experience to be able to touch and support anyone who is ready. I would hope that this website can help and support as many people as possible who are trying to overcome binge eating.

Keep in my mind that I am not a doctor of any sorts.... I am simply a woman, wife, and mother who is doing her best to be a positive force in this world. You can reference my disclaimer for more information.

3.What happens to the people, who don't get over binge eating disorder?

Eating disorders are a way to cope with stress, life, emotions....

Much like with an addiction to drugs or alcohol; the person must be ready to make the necessary changes.

So what happens to people who don't get over binge eating?

They survive. Binge eating is a way to cope and survive through life. It may not be a healthy coping mechanism, but it 'works'.... with side effects of course.

But it's never too late to make healthy lifestyle changes. Even if a person has been suffering from binge eating for an extended period of time; there is always hope for change. Even if it is only comes in small changes over time.

4.How much food does a person with the binge eating disorder eat in a day?

This is a question that can be answered in many different ways. No two people are exactly the same or have identical eating patterns.

But you may want to check out this post for a general answer about my own experience: Calories.

All my Best,

Stefanie
