I think I have binge eating disorder...

OK, here's what happened.

I've always been kind of chunky as a kid and towards the end of 9th grade I decided to make some serious changes. I started eating right and I exercised every day, and it worked! I lost about 30 pounds! But I had begun to become almost obsessed with following my little schedule.

Over the summer I had a plan that I stuck to every day- and if going out with friends, going out for dinner with my family, or anything else got in the way of that, I became very anxious. However, once school started I stopped exercising as much as I used to (2-3 or more hours) and that's when I started having problems.

I was CONSTANTLY fluctuating with my weight. On Sunday I would weigh 120 pounds, but by Saturday I would weigh 115, then I would eat and eat until my stomach had doubled in size! While I was eating I would feel good, but as soon as I was done I felt so guilty ad ugly.

It's been this way forever! What can I do? I always have these food cravings so I go on these harsh diets and exercise constantly to the point where I am genuinely happy with my weight, but then I binge and go right back to where I was! How can I maintain a good weight and not have such an unhealthy relationship with food?

Thanks!

ANSWER

Its not about the weight.

Confusing right?!
But I promise you that if you continue on the track you are on you will gain the weight back; guaranteed.

Solving weight issues and eating disorders doesn't start with diet and exercise. It starts with what goes on in your mind.
